Hawk Helpers Happenings June

Happy Summer! As the school year winds down, we at Hawk Helpers are actively planning for the summer. 

Thank you to our monthly Adopt-A-Shelf sponsors and donors. Because of your on-going sponsorship, we are able to support 34 Charles Wright families. We will continue to accept monthly donations throughout the summer, with updates to our schedule. 

Are you an Adopt-A-Shelf Donor?

Due to the July 4th holiday, we have moved our monthly collection to July 9.

• Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at Charles Wright Elementary, 186 Nott Street, during summer hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM, Friday from 7:30-12:00. 

• Volunteers will be at Trinity Episcopal Church, 300 Main Street, on Thursday from 3:00-4:00 to accept your donation. 

• Need a pickup at your home? We can do that, too. We ask that you have your donation outdoors by 9:00 AM.

Are you looking for another opportunity to help out?

Volunteers are welcome to help out at the pantry on Thursday afternoons to help stock shelves and pack groceries for delivery. Send us a message to learn more.

Can and Bottle Drive

We are holding a can and bottle drive Saturday, July 11 from 8AM-1PM at Charles Wright Elementary, 186 Nott Street. We will gladly accept your empties. If you’d like to help out during the drive, let us know.
