How You Can Help

Every week, volunteers create a menu, shop for food, visit CTFoodshare, stock shelves, collect donations, pack bags, and deliver to homes. Click on the links below to learn more and get involved!

  • Adopt-a-Shelf

Our Adopt-a-Shelf program lets donors pick an item each month to help keep our pantry stocked. This helps us know what items we can count on to have on hand on a regular basis. You’ll even get your name on our donor wall. So, grab a friend, a neighbor, your coworkers, and sign up for a shelf!

  • Lend a Hand in Our Pantry

Each week, volunteers gather to pack bags of food for families and help keep our pantry running smoothly. Tasks include bagging items, breaking down boxes, and restocking shelves.

  • Become a Delivery Driver

Have a car and a little time to spare each week? Become a volunteer driver to deliver groceries to families in town. It’s an easy, meaningful way to make a difference in just under an hour.

  • Contribute with a Monetary Gift

If your time is tight, a financial gift goes a long way in keeping our shelves stocked and our program running strong. Monetary donations allow us to purchase fresh items and fill gaps in inventory.
